When a participant attempts to asphyxiate themselves it is easy for them to pass\u00a0out and\u00a0become strangled by the noose-like device. Doctors and health professionals guess that dozens of kids have been killed while taking part in the &#8220;Choking Game&#8221;, and sadly, many more deaths originally labeled suicides might be attributable to the &#8220;Choking Game&#8221;. Even with others around, someone can easily lose\u00a0consciousness\u00a0and experience severe brain damage.<\/p>\n<p>What kids do not know is that\u00a0maintaining one of these techniques\u00a0may accidentally cause death or injury.\u00a0 Many kids also try this \u201cgame\u201d alone by using a ligature (causing the majority of deaths).\u00a0 Since they don\u2019t know when they\u2019re actually going to faint \u2013 they black out resulting in accidental asphyxiation.\u00a0\u00a0<em>It kills faster than drugs! \u00a0It is never safe!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Kids can become addicted to the &#8220;Choking Game&#8221; because of the euphoria they experience \u2013 not realizing that their brain is slowly dying. \u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.erikscause.org\/choking_game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">erikscause.org<\/a>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Definitely is not safe!
